Dedicated community members passionate about supporting newcomers to the city. Inspired by their own experiences as immigrants, the founder recognized the need for a welcoming and inclusive space where newcomers could connect, learn, and thrive.
In the early years, Centre Ikaze d’Edmonton operated out of a small community center, offering basic language classes and cultural orientation programs. Despite limited resources, the organization quickly gained a reputation for its commitment to helping newcomers feel at home in Edmonton.
